Funeral

If you could not attend either the funeral or the webcast, we have made available to read and download, the Order of Service, Readings and a recording of the webcast.

Funeral Service

The funeral for Emma took place on 15th February 2021 at Redditch Crematorium.

Due to COVID restrictions, only 30 people were allowed to attend in person. However, many more lined the streets and released balloons as the hearse left the Davis family home. This included a large number of colleagues from Aggora where the procession stopped for a few minutes.

Around 200 people also watched the service on a live webcast via the internet.

Entering the crematorium to Sarah McLachlan’s “In the arms of an angel” this was followed by readings from the Minister and Emma’s cousin Louise Williams and long time friend, Emma James.

“Shine Jesus Shine” was played as this was Emma’s favourite hymn.

We then laid her to rest to “Time of my life” from Dirty Dancing, Emma’s favourite film.
